Scott was a sergeant in the US Marine Corps before being recruited by Pinehearst to be a test subject in the "Super Soldier" project. When asked by Nathan why he wanted to continue, he mentioned he did a tour in Iraq. He received Enhanced Strength from the formula. When he was attempting to help Nathan Petrelli after Peter Petrelli came to destroy the formula, Knox killed him by snapping his neck.
