Robert Knepper played Samuel Sullivan in season 4 of Heroes.

He was born in Fremont, Ohio, and raised in Maumee, near Toledo. His father was a veterinarian, and his mother worked in the prop department of the community theater and her job led to his interest in acting, he spent many years working in community theater and later went to North Western University where he studied drama. In 2005, he married his wife Tory.

He is known for his recurring roles in "Mob City", "Public Morales", "Hawaii Five-0" and "Stargate Universe" but he is arguably most famous for his role as prison inmate Theodore "T-Bag" Bagwell on Fox's Prison Break, which ran from 2005 to 2009.
